| Board certified in Farm and Ranch Real Estate Law and having practiced law for over 27 years, Billy Walker concentrates on transactional real estate representation and preparation of all real estate documents as well as probate and preparation of wills. A graduate of Bandera Public Schools and a fourth generaton Bandera County resident, he is familiar with the county's workings and the people who make it work. His grasp of local real estate developments is enhanced by his role as Title Examiner for Moore Title Company, an independent title insurance agent. A dedicated leader in civic organizations, Billy is President of the Bandera Public Library, past president of the Bandera Boys and Girls Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He serves as a director of the Hill Country Land Trust and previously served as a director on the boards of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Cowboy Capital Rodeo Association and the Bandera County Junior Livestock Show Association.
A Master Naturalist, he is in demand as a speaker to the Medina Garden Club, the Bandera Garden Club, the Native Plant Society and Hill Country Master Naturalist Chapter and the Public Library speaker series. His talks range from Bluebird and Purple Martin cultivation to butterfly gardening and gardening with native plants.
Walker's hobbies include fence work on his family's ranch, founded in 1899, jogging on ranch roads with his half Bassett, reading legal and recreational books, raising flowering perennials and spending time with his wife and two children.
